Hamilton Beach 3-in-1 Hot-Beverage Center

I have had this Hamilton Beach beverage maker - model 42115 - for 5 months now and it has served me well.

I am not one to drink numerous cups of coffee at a time so a normal coffee maker would be wasted. I am able to easily make a cup of coffee from a coffee pod or ground coffee as there is an included reusable filter. I would recommend cleaning out the grounds as soon as you finish making the coffee as the smell sticks for weeks if you don’t.

I am also able to quickly boil water for hot tea, hot chocolate, or even noodles making it incredibly convenient, especially as the water seems to heat up so quickly.

This Hamilton Beach coffee maker is incredibly easy to use, the only thing to note is that make sure that water container is pushed in fully before you start or it will get angry at you and may later cause problems for you. Also make sure not to add in hot water or once again it will sputter and get angry at you.

Doing two successive cups without a 5-10 minute wait time, and the machine will sputter and steam at you and will do so reluctantly. The coffee that I have drunk has always seemed somewhat weak, but adding more coffee grounds does partially fix the problem.

A full container of water is equivalent to about 14 ounces of coffee, which is not as much as some would like to drink, but as it is single serve - your second cup will come out steaming hot. There is no way to control how hot the water that comes out is, but I have always found it suitable.

There is also a cup stand for if you don’t wish to make a full 14 ounces and might just want a mug full of a delicious beverage and wish for the hot water not to splatter everywhere. Be careful though if you don’t do a full 14 ounces to not put in too much water that your mug overfills. I recommend using the container you wish to drink out of to measure the amount of water you should add.

I would definitely recommend the Hamilton Beach 3-in-1 Hot-Beverage Center to any of my friends due to its convenience and quick ability to produce a cup of coffee on the run. It is compact and although plastic, it makes for a cute Wall-E feel of a beverage center.
