Bosch Premium - Tassimo Coffee Pod Maker Review

The Bosch Premium Tassimo single-serve coffee brewer is Tassimo's mid-line one-cup coffee pod machine. Using the Tassimo T Discs system of coffee pods, this great little machine can churn out many different types of hot drinks.

As a recipient of the 2008 GOOD DESIGN Award - and several other awards - the Bosch Premium Tassimo coffee pod maker is a sleek, simple to use, very stylish little beast. The world seems pretty comfortable with coffee pod makers nowadays, and the huge variety available is staggering.

The difference with the Tassimo system though, are the Tassimo Discs, or 'T-Discs' as they are known. This amazing system uses a bar-code printed on the top of each T Disc that tells the machine what sort of drink you are about to make. The machine then automatically adjusts the brewing time, amount of water, it even finds the optimal brewing temperature for that specific drink... How cool is that???

Pop in an Espresso T Disc, and you get a short espresso, put in a tea T Disc and the machine will brew for much longer, with more water, to create your perfect afternoon cuppa.
